Oops, left my comment on yesterday's entry. So, I'll repeat here. How nice that you included a lady of color. I was beginning to think that only Caucasian women lived in NYC.BTW, I am not a lady of color. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where we have stylish ladies of all races.
Absolutely, ahhhhhhhhhhhh that purple dress, hat, flowers. the world is gone into a purple frenzy, after seeing this fantastic lady.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Yes, thanks for posting a beautiful Black lady. xooxoxooxoo, you are the best, Ari Seth Cohen. I adore this blog.
I think my life would be infinitely better if I wore hats more. This post proves it!!

I love, love, love that hat!!! She looks stunning!!
She is very beautiful. Very unusual.
She looks great! That lavender color is very complimentary to her. She picked accessories that add the right touch to her whole outfit, giving a total put together look. This would be a good outfit to wear to a wedding!
This picture brings back very pleasant memories of dressing for Easter. (Even though I am not religious at all, but it was a family tradition when I was a child in DC.)Very few could pull of this monochromatic scheme as well as this lovely lady. Absolutely beautiful.
I love the violet with her red hair... it brings it out.
Lovely lilac hat on a lively lady.
